Circa 2008 - Noisy politically-drive hardware sequences / synth techno by Split Horizon, accompanied by a series of short essays and an informative interview about the motives and general perspectives behind the music. A central figure of Detroit’s From the Gut collective (2003-2010), Split Horizon launched Void Tactial Media in 2006 to organize electronic music events and record release that are both socially exciting and also intellectually critical of its own artistic output and the political environments in which is it being produced.
