Taciturne

Taciturne is a legend, and his releases such as the "Potpourri EP" or "6 Fragmente In Der Chronologie Des Wahnsinns" have become cult classics.

For this release on Doomcore Records, we dug deep in the archives of music he did in the past. The focus is on dark, haunting and experimental tunes here. A hint of early Doomcore, Acid, Industrial - even Gabber; all thrown together.

The name "Volksdorf Trax" is rightfully chosen; all these tracks were produced in the Volksdorf district of the city of Hamburg in the gloomy 1990s - and the cover gives us a view of this part of the urban moloch in northern Germany.

These tracks show the skill of his production and the depth of a sonic vision. Musical poetry.
The music both feels like listening to a twisted, disturbed Cyberpunk flick or a surreal psychedelic Horror classic - or maybe both at the same time.

If you want bold and powerful electronic music, give this release a listen. If you're a follower of Experimental music of the 90s - that still feels ahead of time - then you need to check it, too.
